Refund policy
🛍️ 30-Day Change of Mind Returns
We offer a 30-day return window if you change your mind about a purchase. To be eligible for a refund:
- The item must be unused and in its original packaging.
- Return requests must be made within 30 days of the delivery date (as per Australia Post tracking).
- We'll email you a prepaid return label.
- You can print and return the item at your nearest post office.
Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll notify you of the approval status. Approved refunds will be processed back to your original payment method within 5 business days. Refunds may be reduced or declined if the returned item is not in its original condition (e.g. damaged, incomplete, or missing parts).

⚠️ Faulty or Damaged Items
If your item arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us as soon as possible. We’ll ask for a brief description, and in some cases, we may ask for a photo of the issue to assess the next steps.
In line with Australian Consumer Law, you may be entitled to a refund, replacement, or repair. In these cases:
- We will provide a prepaid return label via email.
- You can print and return the item at your nearest post office.
- In some cases, we may send a replacement or part-replacement without the need for a return.
💡Replacing Scratched Acrylics
We offer replacement acrylic panels at a reduced rate if you have purchased your 3D Illusion Lamp from us. Contact us at hello@dimensionlamps.com.au to arrange a replacement panel. You can also change the design as part of this process.
🔁 Exchanges
We only replace items that are defective or damaged. If you need an exchange for a faulty item, email us and we’ll arrange the replacement and return process.
🎁 Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift and sent directly to you, you'll receive a store credit once the return is received. If the item wasn’t marked as a gift or was sent to the gift giver, the refund will be issued to them directly.
💳 Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven’t received your refund within 5 business days of receiving our confirmation:
- Check your bank or credit card account again.
- Contact your payment provider — processing times can vary.
