How it Works

The LED 3D Illusion lamp looks 3D, but its actually a 2D laser etched pattern on a transparent acrylic plate that creates the 3D effect. When you look at the pattern without powering up the unit, you will see the laser etching as only faint lines.

Inside the base of the lamp there is an RGB Controller Circuit, a battery compartment, and 10 Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) that reflect light upwards through the rectangular space at the top of the base.

The only way light can escape is through the slot at the top of the base.

With the acrylic plate fitted. When the lamp is turned on, the light transmitting properties of the acrylic plate captures the LED light and reflects it onto the plate.

And where there is etching is on the plate, the light will radiate, creating the dramatic effect.
