Important Safety Information

Thank you for purchasing your LED 3d illusion lamp from us. Like all electric devices, there are some safety warnings that you need to be aware of so that you can enjoy your LED 3D lamp for years to come.

We take a safety-first approach at Dimension Lamps. That's why we decided to make a blog post about it because understanding the dangers about button batteries is important, particularly when it comes to children.

What are button batteries?

Button (or coin) batteries are small, round batteries that are wider than they are tall. They are commonly the CR2025 batteries found in small electronic devices such as remote controls.

Why so many warnings about button batteries?

In 2019, a young girl in the US died from ingesting a button battery. This led to major reforms in the US and Australia to ensure both adequate warnings were provided, and devices that contain cell batteries are secured safely, so that small children cannot access them. You can learn more about button battery safety and Reece's Law here.

In Australia, safety standard mandates that cell batteries must be secured by a retained screw or a dual-action mechanism. This is why your remote battery is difficult to open, it's by design so children can't access them. Click here to learn how to open the remote compartment on the battery.

Please make sure you read and understand the following safety information:
